PT Sunrise Bumi Textiles (Indonesia) is one of Aditya Birla Group’s yarn manufacturing plants located in Bekasi, Indonesia. Established in 1979, this plant marked Aditya Birla Yarns’ third setup as part of its expansion strategy. Presently, it boasts 103,416 spindles, including 2,800 open-end rotors, and has a total production capacity of 30,941 MTPA.
Approximately 35% of its products are value-added, such as siro spun yarn, lycra core spun yarn, slub yarn, rayon/cotton blended yarn, sewing thread, bamboo 100%, bamboo/cotton, and modal/cotton yarn. PT Sunrise Bumi Textiles caters to a highly quality-conscious market, with exports spread across 30 countries. These include the US, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, as well as the domestic market of Indonesia.
The plant is also certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001, ISO 50001, OEKO-TEX 100, Higg, as well as SVCOC, FSC, GRS, RCS, OCS, and GOTS.
